I have a 2007 Is350 that the cat need to be replace.Since the cat is welded to the exhaust manifold. How difficult is to replace it? Anybody who had done it in the before or some information. What ever you can will be appreciate it. Thank you all.By the way it has 168k miles on it.

I fix mine by replacing fuel pump control unit.it is located behind the driver's seat. Just remove the panel below the quarter glass window.You can buy one on ebay for about 60.00 bucks.

Fuel pump ecu is going bad.Buy one from Ebay and you can do it yourself.Just as one member said It is located behind the driver seat below the quater glass.Pull the back seat bench,remove the panel and it is right there.

Hi guys my power steering is not been working properly lately sometimes its get so hot i can turn specially at high speed.one time it happens i stopped the car and check the fluids and there is no bubles at all and the pump looks to be working normal but yet it is too hot to turn the wheel.So i appreciate all the help that i can get from all of you.Thanks.

check the hose and for air leak if is not bleed the system.If problem not resolve you might have to replace the pump but let that be your last option.

Ok guys i found the solution and it was because i did not set the timing belt correctly one cam ok but one was off by half tooth.It was a good learning experience but the hard way.So just be advise when you doing this job make sure you set the belt wright or it will cost you another eight hours labor.

Hi, guys i changed my timing belt two days ago and after i finished started the car and it runs normal but the check engine light stayed on and i test it and is code 13 open cercuit rpm signal.so i drove the car and the RPM is not working normally. i will appreciate all the help i can get. thanks

Hi, guys i am replacing my timing belt and i just want to confirm some steps about doing the job. According to repair manual i have to remove all eight spark plugs.Is it really necessary to do that? Thanks for all the help.

Ok when the car is on ground and you steer left and right does it makes noise and spit out fluids?Or it is just not working at all.

Ok i had almost the same problem but mine was when i slow down on the stop light the died and as soon as i turn the ignition off and restart it starts just fine after two week when the is hot it will start just cut off so what i use to do was start it and push gas pedal and it will stay on first somebody said it was the fuel pump i bought after market and it did not solve the problem and it was noisy so i when on and bought fuel pump ecu on ebay and it solve the problem.you problem is bit diffent but i am just telling you what i experience in the past.

Ok before you send your cluster to lextech think twice.i send my cluster for them in july they claim it will take 3-5 days to get it fix i did not recieve my cluster after three weeks.and when i got it back i hated the day i ever thought about lextech because i got the cluster back with broken mountings and the job they did was terrible temp gauge was off,speed gauge was off by 7 gas gauge was off so i end up buying another cluster.when you go to their website the only positive reviews they have was date back to 2008 and 2009 so i don't really recomend them. When you search on ebay you will find out that lextech location is Chattanooga TN but when you go to lextech website it is a different city but in TN.I just checked their web again they have a different shipping adrress be really carefull because there is no refund no warranty or nothing.You will email them and they will respond that is before you buy the service but after they get your money you will email and nobody will even care about writing you back. If you thing i am wrong just look it up in this forum,i posted a bad review against them and instate of them accepting the fault promise to do better no they became defensive and tells everybody that they are a bunch of jerks who claim to have fixed over five thousand clusters but they only got two or three good reviews dated back to 2006.that answers it all.Good luck

Just for your knowledge if you go to the dealer known as stealer then you are in trouble. Now what you will do is first look up local auto salvages or junk yards in your area call them and find if they have any,and if they don't then see eBay and make sure you ask all the question you have before buying. Last make the eBay seller rating is at least 98%.good luck.

you know what i believe in these and if your engine and transmission still good then is worth it. i replaced my bushing myself it is not an easy job,same thing with the engine mounts they are a pain in next.the only easy one was the transmission mount.The SC is not difficult to work on but it you don't take time to follow instructions exactly then you don't need to try because you will scrow up.Anyway how is it driving now?

Thanks alot you are right because i can also feel a vibration when i brake at high speed and i know it is not something else because in past the steering wheel will shake thats when the mounts and shocks was bad but now is only coming from the front wheels so i assume it is the rotors i don't thing they were been replaced i will just go ahead and replace the entire thing rotors and pads and will let you know.Thanks

Hi,guys i just replaced my engine and transmission mounts and now the shift knob is wobbling whenever i step my foot on brakes and i can see it shaking and moving so i am not sure what is it. so i will appreciate any help that i can get thanks.

Thanks alot for your help i did not realize that those thinks have a marks anyway that alignment tech charge me 90.00 Dollars that caused me to learn something after putting the arms back one arm came out 100% and the other one was off by just a little bit so its all works out fine

Hi,guys last year i replaced my lower arms bushing after i put the arms back the car was in bad shape i could not turn the wheel i took it to alignment and the tech told me i did not measure the settings before removing the arms so i ends up paying one extra hour worth of labor.now i want to replace the arms and i have been searching online and on this forum trying to get the imformation or instructions how to mark the settings before removing the arms. I will really appreciate your help my ball joints are all worn out completely.

Hi,guys i notice that the temp gauge has been going a little bit over the normal. When i start driving it will go over the middle mark and it sits half way between the third mark and the second mark which is the the middle one.the interior is also hot i am getting alot of heat inside the car even if i set the air not to come inside i can still get hot air coming under the steering wheel and the cup holder area get real hot. i will appreciate any help thanks.

Hi,guys i am having something strange about my side view mirrors let start at the passenger side it can tilt down and also outside but it does not go up or tilt in the driver side is just doing opposite the passenger mirror.Another way two options work and two do not i tried different mirrors because i thought may be they are broken and the other mirrors doing the same thing so before buying ECM OR ECU i want to know if anybody ever experience something like this in the past.Thanks guys.

Hi, guys i am looking to buy a floor matts my 92 sc400 the dealer said they discontinue and i am considering gs floor matts special the front ones they look identical,i know they are not exactly the same but did anybody knows if it is a big difference or not?I tried to buy some on ebay but they don't come with the lexus logo they said because copy rights or something like that.Thanks everyone.

Here we go they are still defensive first of all when i recieved the cluster back the mount was broken and it never been pack .you should at least cover it up.I did not even think for a minute to write them back because if they don't even care after getting the payment.Now i saw a reply here from lls they always saying something like why thousand are ok and one got a problem well let lls show everybody in this forum that they do have five thousand satisfied customers because when you go to their there are only two or three reviews and are dated back between 2004 and 2009 and they are only eleven reviews in five years so that mean you not been doing too good at all.Ok from 2009 to 2011 you never have any good reviews can you explain why your company never had one good review in two? either you been erasing them because they are bad reviews or you know exactly what been doing.I tell you lls you are a bounch of thieves and robbers who will get people money with false advertisements mess up their parts and kick them to the curve and i tell what you know why i posted this post here because either you will change the way you do business or you not going to get any because this is where all lexus sc current and future owners will be hanging out.If you want to know my name incase you feel like i am somebody who just want to bring down your company my email adress is kulangj81@yahoo.com and you will find out who i am. Hi,guys i had read alot of mixed reviews about lextech but for stupidity i send them my cluster for repair one month later is not even here and every time you email them you insulted.According to thier web it suppose to take three to five bussiness working days to complete but can even understand what these idiots are doing.So i am just everybody know about what i am going through with this company will let you when i recieve it but as of now i don't think is a good idea to give somebody your money for service and then after taking your money they sit back and not even think about you and everytimes you send them email trying to find out what is going on you get a respond a begger will not get i thing this will get himself hurt one day they to avoid his service.i belisve there is another one that does the same service he charges about $129 Dollars you might have to try him but lextech you will be disappoint.And is even alone that have a bad experience with this company there are already alot of bad reviews and when read reviews on there website there are only afew of them and the newer one is date back to 2008 that tells this company is not doing too good and they are always defensive instead of finding out why people are writing bad comments.they quick to rush to blame unsatisfied customer paid them for service them get insulted humiliated.
