The 99, like my 2000, has a hard drive system instead of the current DVD system. Lexus says the new update is $850 plus installation. Somewhere on this site someone quoted a price of $280, but I have never been able to find the Web site where the purchase can be made. The hard drive I have works well around major areas, but is really bad here in eastern NC. The area around my town is almost blank... of course the town is, too. Good luck finding what you need. Let me know if you find a great price. ;)

How many miles do you have on your GS? Just wondering what I have in store with my 2000 GS400 :whistles:

The link to video-nav.com is no longer working. I know these posts are a year old, but if anyone is still out there who can put me on to the Web site for a replacement hard drive for the Nav. system, I would appreciate it. thanks in advance for your help.

I just bought a 2000 GS400 w/o the manual for the navigation system. Does anyone have a link to an online version? If not, can you walk me through clearing all the flags, destinations, etc. the prior owner had? Thanks in advance
