  2. I just dropped off my GS430 for a 15000 miles service at the dealer. The invoice was for $420! I'm shocked. I'm leasing this vehicle and still have two more years to go. Is it absolutely necessary to have it serviced at the dealer? Should I look for alternatives? Thanks.
  3. My GS430 is equipped with Bridgestone Potenza summer tires and they are not the best choice if you live in NJ and have to drive during winter monts. Last December was my first encounter with driving in a snow, and now I definitely know why they called "summer tires". I need to get a new set of tires but I simply do not know what model to pick. If anybody has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.
  4. I had the same exact issue with my 2003 GS 430, the car just stopped accelerating, Engine, VSC and VSC OFF lights came on, the car just would not go above 50 miles per hour. It felt like something was wrong with the gas pedal, I shut the car off, let it cool off for a while and then everything went back to normal, but in the morning it happened again. I brought the car to the dealer and they had to replace a unit that "tells" the angle of the gas pedal. Good luck.
