  1. I have had my GX for 5 years. I bought it with 23,000 miles and it was spotless. It is just as pristine at 272,000 and the only repair outside of brakes, tires and a couple batteries is the a/c evaporator. The finance guy at the dealership where I purchased mine had an early model LS400 with 450k miles. Same story, no real repairs, just regular maint. I came from a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee ltd which was costing me about 5-600 per month in stupid repairs. Probably qualifies as a lemon but just wanted to move on. my wife has an ES and we both could not be happier. Bottom line is do not let the mileage scare you, there built to last.
  2. Thanks for the feedback. Will inquire with local Lexus Parts Dept. Have a Great Day
  3. I have a 2004 which has been a great vehicle. I do a lot of driving and while the vehicle has held up extremely well there is an area of wear I would like to correct. The drivers side seat folding arm reast is showing its wear. Has anyone ever replaced the vinyl cover or the arm rest itself? I am not sure if Lexus sells replacement covers or if there is an aftermarket cover that matches the factory material. It looks like there is some way to open the back up in oder to slide it off but have not taken that step and won't unless I find I can do the replacement. Any input or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
