I bought a spare remote key for my '05 ES330 on-line and brought it to the dealer to have it programmed and it didn't work. Called the vendor and they kept telling me that it is guaranteed to work and dealer didn't know what they were doing. I then tried my local locksmith and he couldn't program it either, he told me that probably what I got was a '03 ES300 transponder. Called the vendor again and they told me that '03 ES300 and '05 ES330 transponders are compatible with fcc id HYQ12BBT. Is this true ?
I've going back and forth, wasting time and $ and the darn is still not working. I need a key spare key, where can I get one that is supposed to work.
