  1. Why o why cant your dealer use a test disc to determine your problem.
  2. Yes just the passenger side, it feels like there is no A/c on at all. Please could you explain what you mean by the dual mode setting, Thank you for your help. I'm not totally sure how it works on the 03-07 LX. Or if it is even possible for that matter...but try pressing the "climate" button and see if there is an option for "dual" mode for the driver and passenger to select different temperatures. And make sure the vents are open too. I have tried all the obvious the instructions are quit self explanatory, it just is not as cold as normal age I can understand but the passenger side being much warmer is a mystery. 100,000 miles first ever problem have been spoiled. Yeah that is weird. The only other thing I can think of is that something behind the dash is disconnected letting spoiled warmer air pass into the passenger side vents. Problem solved low freon, There is no dual setting when the freon is low the system defaults to the drivers side. Thanks for your input, Hope this helps somebody.

  5. Hi, my 2003, 100,000, miles has just started to run hot when I say hot I mean not as cold I have come to expect, The passenger side vent has stopped blowing cold, I live in South Florida during cloudy weather it is just fine but it is just not as cold as it used to be. I have never missed a service Lexus dealer only, any ideas thanks.
  6. I spoke with a Toyota genius today he is the most respected indie shop in LA,I asked him why Toyota don't sell new gaskets ( the new lite is $250 )my gaskets are rotten, he said they are not the problem. The plastic used to make the lite is so thin that after in the sun they warp, Toyota have known this for years.I hope this helps. Daniel
  7. Had similar problem with my 2000 LX. Dealer replaced seal around RHMSL(Rear High Mount Stop Lamp). Water was traveling through the light down the trim and onto my rear cargo carpet. Mine was under warranty so they replaced it free. Has that fixed the problem? I am having the same problem with my 2004 lx-470. The rear carpet was very wet so I took apart the carpet to the bare steel panel and found out that the water accumulated underneath the base panel (there are two small holes on the right and left side where I can put some form of tube and vacuumed the water out from the wide base panel below). I live in Seattle where it rains a lot and during the rainy season, I can hear the water slide from one side to the other when I make a sudden turn. I took it to the local dealership and they do not have any idea as to the exact cause of the problem. Any comment on what needs to be done as to the cause and fix will be appreciated.
