I've had a similar problem, but it was the sat radio causing the gps to get lost. When I pulled it out to get it(the radio) checked the GPS went back to working great. Do you have add on or factory sat radio? i have an add on sat radio the nav is now working but now we do not have the sat radio. and just so everyone knows to they forgot to hook my dvd player back up so it went back for that they called a day later and said it was ready when i got to lexus of tampa bay i turned on the radio and the screnn said audio off they had to take it back in the shop they forgot to plug the radio in this time.

I have a friend at the toyota dealer he told toyota batteries are made by interstate. I had him do it so i didn't lose all my memory it was 125 installed out the door.

I just wanted to let everyone know my 06 GX 470 has been at Lexus of Tampa Bay for 8 weeks and i just got it back on monday and they came to pick it back up today the navigation still does not work right and now my satellite radio does not work they replaced the wiring harness in the dash the antenna cable and antenna but when you check the nav screen you only have 3 to four sats and 2d most of the time and the time on the gps is wrong it about 6 hours off needless to say this has been a nightmare.

i just had my left rear replaced today at 49600 miles under warranty it seems they only do one at a time.

well i have the same problem again my nav. is lostthe dealer is trying to blame it on my rear dvd i had installed the problem is that it did it before i had it installed and is doing about 5 m0nths after the dvd was installed i now have 49672 miles i think i am getting the run around they showed me the diagnostic screen it shows my lat and long but they say it shows no sat. signal all 0's on that line but yet the gps followed me down the road for awhile and now my sat radio won't work since i left i really need someones help.

i just had mine replaced on my 06 gx they were doing the samething i live in florida the dealer tried to say that maybe it was from the salt water or moisture and i stated that its funny that theres pages of people on the net that have the same prob. on the net and after talking to the service manager they replaced them under warranty.

thanks i took it in on friday they could not find anything wrong but it has been ok for about three weeks now.

can the exterior lights be programmed to come on at night when you unlock the vehicle at night?

if anyone else has had this problem i would like to know i am taking it in this friday

i had mine replaced at 32k under warranty but it was a fight too just dont accept the bs they give you because its a known prob.I'm looking at buying a 2004 GX and noticed some rust on the wheels in the pictures. Could this be covered under the CPO warranty? Paint is not covered under the CPO warranty, maybe you can make the repair a pre-purchase condition. Done! Nice seeing you here too! My truck just turned 3 and I have 25,000 miles on it. They will be put on this week.

check in the middle of the running boards on the bottom there is a plug you may also want to check the voltage at that plug

has anyone had thier nav working just fine and then all of a sudden you look at it and your hundreds of miles away the other day my wife drove around the gulf of mexico for a few days i did a recalibrate and its been fine but it has done this three time 06 gx 470 black
