I have a 2001 Lexus IS300 and the past two mornings I have noticed within the first five-ten minutes of driving a high pitched whistle. It sounds exactly like a teapot whistling. The temperatures outside have been about 20-30 degrees. I hear the whistle at about 30mph only upon letting off of the gas and the whistle lasts only ten seconds. Today I heard it over my radio/heat which caused a bit of an alarm to me. Any ideas?!

Hello everybody , sorry for my english , i'm french from NICE , french riviera, so i already apologise for my mistakes ;) New in the LEXUS CLUB with an european IS 250 RWD 2007, and also new on your webforum since 5 minutes, so ; i'm happy to be with you , and hope i will find ( and also give ) advices , ideas and help for my new car. For the beginning , i think i will ask a lot of question , and perhaps share a part of my little experience ; i come from a SUBARU GT 2000 with own setup and little preparation to have pleasure , i've owned it during 7 years , but we are getting old ;) and change for a lexus for its comfort and its V6. But 4 months with the lexus , now i want to improve it , so that's why i need some advices ;) , before my questions i will check all the posts on the IS 250 to find my answers ;) Hope i won't annoy you with my future questions See you soon

just want to make a survery, kinda lazy to make a poll, but i want to know if any other GX owner out there has any rattling that comes from the moonroof. I noticed it just like 2 months ago (after having it for 2 years) and when i press on the moonroof, it makes the rattle sound. anyway to fix it???

90,000 I changed mine at 110,000...Depends how the car has been driven.
