Some have been fixed by dealers who replaced parts or the entire mirror assembly. Heres the W/O from one repair. One dealership stated there was not a Lexus bulletin on this, but what they documented on the work order was "CENTER REAR VIEW MIRROR HAS EXCESSIVE PLAY IN IT GUEST STATESOP TECH 320 EXCESSIVE PLAY IN JOINT OF REAR VIEW MIRROR REPLACE MIRROR ASSY 87810-53120" The last number appears to be a part number. I guess I use a little too much bass in my music, and it would shake the begeebers outta that mirror!!!! The new mirror (new IS) vibrates a little, but not as much. SLKLex Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 I brought my 06 IS 250AWD in recently about this same problem. They could not fix it and had to report the problem back to Lexus. They said that it is not the problem w/ the rearview mirror, it the way the wind flow in the car when the sunroff is retracted all the way. :( Does anyone have a problem with the review mirror vibrating when the sunroof is retracted....I mean is it so bad it looks like the cars behind are jumping around.
