Has replacing rear backup camera on 2005 lx470 improved clarity of the picture ?

Has anyone replaced the rear camera due to poor picture quality and noticed any improvement ?

Have you verified that it working  as well as the rear cameras in other LX470?  Toyota has long been criticized for the poor image quality of backup cameras in most of their vehicles regardless of brand, e.g. Lexus, Toyota, Scion, etc. 

Clarity is probably limited by the screen resolution or the interface between the camera and the screen.  If it is, a higher resolution backup camera isn't going to help.
