Need Help with Diagnosis, second/third opinions about p0300 code, head gasket, water pump, timing belt diagnosis from mechanic.

Thanks, I'll make note of that. But does the pink stain from the coolant on the old gasket help verify a leak from a faulty head gasket? even if it is minor leak? A leak is a leak.

Often the mechanic uses and borescope to look into one or more spark plug holes to look for coolant leaks from the head gasket. The valve cover gaskets, on the other hand, will start seeping oil, externally, which will make its way down to the exhaust manifold and create a burning oil smell.

So what I'm looking is the coolant on the head gasket, correct? Thanks for the info.
