Filled tank in Wilmington De drove to Durham NC. filled up again (overnight stop in DC). 1 last stop about 30 miles from dest, could have made it no problem, but gas was only 171.9 for SUPER. Total trip 850 miles averged over 20 MPH. Car drove like a charm. Was running at 75-80 most of time, caught mysel at 98+ on more than one occasion while passing. Washington DC to Atalnta about 650 miles Left at noon arrived 8:30 IF not the best, certainly one of the Best cars I have ever driven. SCdriver Posted May 22, 2004 Share Posted May 22, 2004 You should be getting 25-27mpg if you were driving on highways with little traffic at the speeds you mentioned. If your gas milage was lower, try puttng in some techron fuel additive before the next trip and run nearly the full tank and make sure your plugs are OK and you have a relatively new air filter etc. I get 25-27mpg on long highway trips.
