Deactivate auto lock feature?

Anyone know if there is a simple procedure to turn this function OFF for an 06 LS430?  The function locking the doors automatically when you move the transmission out of PARK.

The owner's manual says it is a user option and can be deactivated by a dealership, but just curious if it can actually be done at home.

We had to have a couple of features changed by the dealership. Most likely, you must as well unless you have the same tool they have..

You need to use techstream the toyota software to change the settings but I think on some model years you can access the menu in the car screen for this setting
