2007 RX 400h -- Tailgate Lift Modification??

While the tailgate on my 2007 Lexus RX 400h opens with dashboard button and key-fob button, it does not 'automatically' lift when opened from rear; must MANUALLY lift.  Does anyone know of a modification that exists for having tailgate open 'automatically' when the rear rubber lift-tab is merely lifted from the back?
