I recently purchased a 2021 es300h and found errors in contract, the Utah Larry H. Miller Lexus Lindon, This Dealer would not refund around $1100 until we completed a 5 star rating from Lexus. Is this common practice to hold customer refund hostage

I would hope that it is not common practice. Did you try speaking with Lexus USA Customer service? If this number is not correct, perhaps they can give you the most direct number.

I have found Lexus Customer service less than helpful. Called them on Friday morning and they said they would get back with me. Called again late Friday afternoon (since they didn't call me) and they said they would call me tomorrow (Saturday). They didn't call me. On Monday I called again and they said: Ooops, we are not open on Saturday. My brand new Lexus (4 weeks old) was not drive-able. I told them this was urgent. They still didn't call me back on Monday. Finally they called me back on Tuesday to tell me that there was nothing they could do. I had to go back to the original dealer. Not great customer service, well perhaps for a Yugo.

You did say that you found errors in the contract. So now your Lexus was undriveable? What exactly happened?
