joemat Posted September 18, 2021 Share Posted September 18, 2021 My manual calls for hypoid gear oil API GL-5 above 0 degrees F SAE 90. Below O degrees F SAE 80W or SAE 80W-90. Thats for a 2007 IS 250 AWD. Lexus dealers are using 75W- 85 or 90. Was there change to the requirements for AWD Differentials? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
