Possible ecm issues

To summarize, It will idle very loudly with a shake that you can feel and see in your mirror. When driving around 40mph everything works fine but reaching 55+ seems to cause issues sometimes. It will stay at about 5-6 thousand rpm sometimes going only 55-60 and will refuse to shift up. Other times it will be at around 4k rpm going the same speed and do this thing where the engine seems to completely stop (no noise and you can feel it deaccelerating) but the rpm drops by about 200-300 and then the engine kicks back to life and keeps going all in about the span of 1-3 seconds. At first, it was only when letting off of the gas and accelerating again or going down a steep hill but now it does it almost constantly. I have access to a snap-on ethos+ (I'll post whatever data I got pictures of in a second. It's basically a foreign language to me but maybe someone can decipher it) but whenever I use it to reset the codes the car suddenly starts up and runs as if it were brand new for about 30 minutes before the issues get worse and the time before they come back gets smaller and smaller to the point where some will show up immediately now. It wouldn't be a huge issue if it weren't for the fact that it will guzzle an entire tank of gas in just a few days when it's acting up, and I'm almost embarrassed with how loud it gets when idling in drive-throughs as the noise and jerkiness is enough to attract glances from strangers and comments from passengers.

Please feel free to give suggestions or ask for other data that may help because I want to be 100% sure before replacing the ecu and dealing with everything that entails
