trickle charger for 2008 ls460

i have a 2008 ls460 - still in beautiful shape and runs great. i will be leaving it for months a time soon. can i use the 12v power outlet under the middle armrest to plug in a trickle charger? any recommendations/advice on specific chargers or usage?

Hi John....welcome to the Club

I would personally have a charger wire directly to the battery and have a quick connector which you can plug into the trailing lead from through the grill area for example.
You would be best to get hold of a trickle charger or battery conditioner (such as C-TEK) which will cycle the battery charge to keep the battery in tip top condition.
