A) Does the main hybrid battery require an maintenance during it's lifecycle and B) How many years or miles do they generally last? Lexus Owners Club Posted March 16, 2021 Share Posted March 16, 2021 I do not believe the batteries need any maintenance but it does pay to have a health check on the system to ensure there are no dead cells and also the hybrid system is operating as it should. This is a dealer only service but it shouldn't be too expensive to have checked and certified.
