wuweiw6 Posted August 23, 2020 Share Posted August 23, 2020 hi guys, we have owned the 98 lx from 85k miles on the odometer. Going to hit 190 on the way home tomorrow and loved every minute. The woman wants to get a travel trailer and I am not clear on the max weight I should be comfortable with towing. I have seen 5k, 6500, and the kg to lb conversion for a 78 series landcruiser comes out to 7800. What is the heaviest you would be comfortable towing on a regular basis? Is this a pipe dream to use a 20 year old truck to drag a mini house around the country for a year? Looking for your thoughts, thanks.
