I have an issue with my 2013 Lexus RX350. I recently started to notice that my car doesn't make any beeping noise after locking or unlocking my car. I check the settings in my car, but everything is turned on. I can't seem to find out why this is happening. Searched the internet for clues or suggestions, but can't seem to find any answers.

Any information would be helpful.

I suppose the beeper module itself could have failed but I've never known of one failing.  When I searched a parts number cross reference, it looks like the same beeper module is used on just about every vehicle that Toyota makes including our Sienna and Prius.  The part number appears to be 89747-30040 and the part is called the "BUZZER, WIRELESS DOOR LOCK" in the parts list.

The parts diagram for your car doesn't show exactly where it's located - somewhere in the left front fender area?

Do you own or have access to just about any other vehicle made by Toyota?  If you do, you could switch in the beeper module from another vehicle to see if yours has failed.

I just now went out to the garage, raised the hoods on our Sienna and Prius, and then pressed the unlock buttons on their keyless fobs.  The beeps "seem" to be coming from inside the engine compartment fuse boxes on the driver side but I'm not certain and it's too cold in the garage for me to want to investigate further.  If the beeper is not inside the fuse box, it is very nearby.

6 months ago I purchased a Certified Pre Owned LX 570 and have been loving it so far.  However, yesterday the sound suddenly cut off while I was driving.  Did some reading and found that these Mark Levinson amplifiers have been acting up since 2001 vehicles.  I took the vehicle to the dealer and confirmed that the issue was the amplifier and enquired as to why haven't Lexus done anything about this issue which seems to be over 16 years old.  I spoke to someone and they suggested there may be ground for a class action lawsuit based on the number of vehicles that have had this issue.  I am curious as to how many have had this problem to see if there is indeed a systematic issue or if they are isolated incidents.
      Look forward to hearing back.

My Lexus 2003 RX300 is making a loud beeping sound coming from the dashboard area when accelerating.  When I apply the brakes, the beeping sound stops.  It usually only happens when the engine is cold and up getting up to a 50 mile an our or so speed, or when accelerating up a steep hill. Anyone else had this, or know what it is?

Just gutted my stock system from my 99 GS300. Headunit, amp and cd changer all worked except the lcd was going out on the display. I swapped in a touchsceen dvd with all the modern conveniences to bring it up to date. I don't have room to keep this stuff around on a shelf collecting dust so i'm open to offers. Thanks!

      Hello all,
I own a 2007 Lexus 400h and it's making a strange noise when I step on the clutch/brake pedal when the car is standing still.
Here is a video showing similar problem:
Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

I decided to start a new thread with links to the old one for reference so I do not get any false reports of replies referencing AOL from the mod :)

Sorry to drag up such an old thread but this has happened
to me about 4 or 5 times except I am approaching from the front. We bought a 2007 ES350 from the dealer in November 2014. If you still have this car has this continued? Did I buy your car? ;)
The only things that come to mind would batteries in the fob and perhaps the car battery as Lexus said that the car's battery is showing wear. I have not seen any signs of that and I assume it means that it just has fewer cranking amps.
      Any help would be appreciated.
