Rear Hatch does not open

My hatchback door will not open, any ideas out there that may help me, I am a disabled veteran and live in Colorado and would appreciate any assistance one has to offer.

Hi Keith

Maybe you could get someone to climb into the rear once the seats are folded and remove the trim panel on the tailgate to access the lock mechanism from inside the vehicle.
