MY 1996 LS400 HAS JUST BEEN RECHARGED, THE AIR WAS ORIGINALLY WARM, AFTER CHARGING IT IS NOTICEABLE COOL (BARELY) AND THE A/C BUTTON KEEPS FLASHING. AM SUSPECT THE CABIN FILTER(S) NEED TO BE REPLACED (WHICH WILL BE DOING VERY SOON). JUST WANT TO BE SURE SOMETHING ELSE ISN'T CAUSING THE A/C BUTTON TO FLASH, BEFORE CHARGING IT DIDN'T FLASH. ANY INSIGHT WILL BE APPRECIATED.

It's flashing because you need to read the AC trouble codes. Check out this thread to show you how to read the codes.
