My parents have a 2000 Lexus RX300. About 6 months ago it developed a parasitic drain that would completely drain the battery if it sat for a few days. I tested the current draw for all the fuses under the hood and found the DOME fuse was consistently drawing about 0.5 amps with the doors closed and the interior lights off. I removed the DOME fuse and the battery has maintained its charge after sitting for several weeks. Odd thing is that when I removed the DOME fuse, we lost power to the radio and the center information panel. I don't know why the radio and information panel would be effected by the DOME circuit. Is there a component that would interconnect the radio/information center to the Dome circuit? Thanks, Gilbert

Does anyone know if/when Lexus is releasing the 2018-19 navigation system update? I've searched all over the place, and the latest info I can find refers to the 2017 update.
I have a 2015 RX350 with the original maps, and I'd like to update them as soon as the newer updates become available.

I have a 2014 RX 350 with 2013 maps. There is a map update screen that asks for a DVD or USB drive to update the maps.
How can I find out what generation Nav system I have and/or what DVD I actually need.
Please help Thanks

Hi, Everyone. I just purchased a used 2015 ES300h and I need to update the navigation system map. My old HS250h required that the dealer do any nav updates, but my new car has a micro SD card slot so it looks like an update should be pretty straightforward. Is it possible to buy the card somewhere for this GEN 8 system and install a new card myself? My local Lexus dealer is saying I have to buy a replacement card from them for $210 then pay to have it programmed. Any guidance, suggestions or options would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
