Very unhappy with it, if you start it remotely, the engine shuts off (as designed) as soon as you open the door. Has anyone installed one of these units, And do you have the same experience? Lexus Owners Club Posted April 19, 2018 Share Posted April 19, 2018 I suppose apart from any liability of the engine not shutting off when the door opens, you could always disconnect the connection to the drivers door switch therefore not allowing it to shut down the engine.
