On the end of the egr rail, going toward the firewall.
It appears to attach to the valve cover which has a nipple which is covered.
Took the cover off and attached it and RPMS went to 250 from 750, ran rough. Runs perfect without it connected, (for years) so I plugged the end of it. The plug in the end is pointing to the supposed connection point. 59b1d38f45a8c_egrline921.jpg.36abcf68f56ad607ae5b2d9a49a6d7d1.jpg

Any ideas what it is? Or does?
