Motor with 222k seems to be fouling spark plugs

Motor seems to need plugs every 10k miles. Lexus did oil consumption test and said it uses an average amount of oil for the miles but I think it uses abkut a quart every 1200 which seems like a lot. Is there anything I can do to extend the life of the motor before I have to replace it? Thanks!!

I would get the valve stem seals replaced if they are the oil issue.  They should have been able to tell you where the problem was occurring.

High mileage synthetic oil like from Mobile 1 helps with the leaks becasue they added chemicals that actually swell up the seals and reduce the leaking, but some say the added sulfur will clog the cats.
