wing0
i took a look at my maintenance sheet and it says to change the A/C filter every 16000km or 12 months... Is this filter located in the front or it is just the air filter in the glovebox? Also, what is up with the propeller shaft grease, does the RX have this? (i have the AWD version, or do they consider that the 4WD) Also, what is the difference between the differential fluid(need replace at 24months/32000km) and the transfer case fluid(24 months/24000km) Thanks! jbarhorst2
The AC filter is the one in the glovebox. The RX is considered an AWD because you always have some power going to all wheels. You cannot turn it off. The propeller shaft is the drive shaft.
douglasmiami
Lexus has suggested an "A/C Service" to clean out my A/C. I had been having some concerns that evaporator was dirty / not working properly. Lexus wanted to spray something into AC and let heater run for 30 minutes. I assume this is to flush the system somehow. Anyone hear of this? Can I buy a kit like this at Autozone or Pep Boys cheaper?
