Softserve Posted November 3, 2016 Share Posted November 3, 2016 So I have put a new battery and a new alt in today, my battery light still on. Took it in to get tested alt was at 11.6v on car, took it off got it bench tested and it passed three times in a row! So I checked my grounds and all are good... no problems with wiring harness and all fuses are good! What could've my issue??? Exhaustgases Posted November 3, 2016 Share Posted November 3, 2016 Corroded connections at the fusible links if that year has them. Look for things like battery wires with corrosion where the wire fits into the eye of the connector and that means replacing the cable end.
