Audio tech question

I have a 2015 RX350 with navigation. In the center console I can plug in my Ipod to the USB port and it plays great. I am unable to plug in my Eclipse MP3 player to USB and all I get is the message No Files Found. This seems rather odd because in my 2016 4Runner limited the same MP3 player works great.

Is it some setting I can't find or is it possible the Lexus just can't read this MP3 player?

Hi Gary,

I had problems as well when plugging in a mp3 player. Lexus has used an Apple type platform for all of the audio. In your owners manual there should be a section explaining the types of formats for mp3 and its guide on what file type to use when laying down mp3 compatible files.

I got so tired of having to mess with the mp3 device I bought an Ipod and now all is well.
