nedear
Congrat on your new ride, I also bought mine at local Lexus dealer for an 05 86xxxK miles for 19k OTD, so if your 16k OTD then it's a good deal. What you can do is check the service history by registering the vehicle at Lexus Owner website, you will see the previous owner's service record the most important is check that timing belt and water pump service has it been done yet. I love the 3rd GEN LS, everything inside are so refine, love the ventilation seat and replaced the seats blower air filter (it hasn't been replaced over 11+ years), this is the car I really want to buy 10 years ago, I did some minor maintenance like oil change, spark plugs changed, air filter changed, car run so smooth and refine, next is rear differential gear oil, I will let dealer change the ATF fluid since it require using Techstream software to monitor the fluid level. I just added an iPod adapter from VAIS and the Mark Levinson sound so lively with the iPod.

nedear
Hi William, So you have the same color I have Briarwood Pearl? Mine also 2 owners and I am the 3rd, the seats filter is underneath the seat, very easy to access to. 1st, raise the seat to highest possible position. 2nd remove the small tiny drawer (slide open, push down and pull) then you can clearly see the filter attached to the blower motor. here is where I bought it from and they are quick shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/231669122805?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Don't forget the cabin filter also inside the glove compartment, I found out mine trap lots of pine pin in it. here is the seat filter (new vs old) The VAIS Tech iPod / USB adapter I place it inside the glove compartment, all of the control just as CD changer very convenience. Let me know if you need detail removal the radio and trim to install the VAIS adapter.
