k9fxr Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 07 350RX with a rattle over low speed road imperfections. 111k miles, orig shock/struts. My mechanic has replaced both ball joints, tie rods and tightened under panels. He says it is not the shock, but I didnt question him on the upper mount. It is low pitched with a quick rattle. Wondering if it could be a duct or something else buried. I noticed the hood strut seems to clunk and make noise if I push up on the hood and overextend it Any thoughts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fernandolpa Posted July 18, 2016 Share Posted July 18, 2016 I have the same problem, in my case while rattling if I slightly press the brakes the noise disappear.
