Drivers side mirror does not work

I have a 2001 LS430. The drivers side mirror is not working . It can be adjusted my hand. How can I open the mirror site?

You may be able to move it against the motor by just pushing the glass around a bit of already broken anyway. Are you planning on attempting a repair or just looking for a replacement mirror?

I removed the switch on the dash board and cleaned the contacts. The mirror works now.

How do you do that?  My is having the same issue.  Its working on and off depending on its mood.
