Front bearing and hub replacement

Just finished replacing the front bearings and hub assembly on my Lexus Gx470. Many important things were learned. First is that you can buy the hub assembly and bearing assembly separate ......don't .    Next was the fact that there is a seal between the two assemblies that is not discussed anywhere. Then there are the 4 hub bolts that you must have replacement in hand otherwise you have to press apart the old assembly to get them. Then you need to know that there is an o ring as well. This can probably be saved but don't forget to look for that. Parts stores don't seem to sell the COMPLETE assembly.   However the good news is that Bluepit Bearings DOES sell the whole smack. $280.00 for that .  Trust me , if I ever do another bearing and hub replacement ,  this is the only way to go !  It will make this nightmare job about a thirty minute deal. And no, I do not work for Bluepit

Previously, Sewell Lexus sold OEM parts online at a discount for this forum members. Looks like this opportunity has been gone now. Where else would you buy discounted OEM parts? Or do we have to now rely on only non-OEM discounted parts?
