BRAKES WENT TO FLOOR CAUSING 3 CAR ACCIDENT. 2  CARS TOTALLED.  NEED TO CLEAR MY RECORD.  HAD A POSTCARD FROM LEXUS TO JOIN LAW SUIT. DID NOT JOIN SUIT BUT NOW BRAKES WENT OUT AFTER THE FACT.  HOW DO I PROOVE I PUT MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL.  BRAKES ARE NOW WORKING.  SOMETHING CAUSED BRAKES TO GO OUT.     AM ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE  I PUT MY FOOT ON BRAKE PEDAL.

Like the NFL, I believe you'll need indisputable video evidence to overturn the ruling. Brakes are duel systems which would require a catastrophic failure upon which the brake would not be functional. My guess is that while you're sure you hit the brake, the only pedal around there that has the mechanical ability to go to the floor is the accelerator. It happens so don't beat yourself up over it all.
