Power Side View Mirrors Not Working

I have a 2001 Lexus ES 300 and I am unable to control the side view mirrors. I changed the switch as I was told this was the problem. I checked the fuses in the engine and inside the car but can not figure out the problem.

Wow!....I unfortunately have no answer for you. You have done everything that I would have done.

Checking the fuses in the engine compartment was the right thing to do as well. You might be wise to just go ahead and replace the old fuse's. After all there 14 years old.

Are you able to get to the wiring that goes to the mirrors or behind the mirror? You first need to know if there is power up to the motors. Then you'll be able to really get moving.

My suggestion is that you follow the appropriate diagnostic procedure which is in the hard copy repair manual set and at https://techinfo.toyota.com

The problem could be a "dead" mirror control ECU.
