swammie
Ok, I am replacing my rear wiper arm. I have it off, getting in back on seems to be a different story. Any ideas, techniques? ?
mn83985
Did you ever figure out how to reattach the rear wiper arm? The rear wiper arm on my GX470 just broke the other day and waiting for the new part to arrive. However, I am curious to see how you removed the wiper arm? Did you simply remove the plastic cover piece and then remove the nut? I got to this step and when I tried to pull the arm off it wouldn't budge. usna93
Bump. Anyone know how to get it off? I tried as well, but the arm won't budge off the post after taking off the screw. Tried WD40 but it's as if it's fused/corroded to the post.
mn83985
Yes. I used a drimmel saw to cut off the washer that actually seems to be part of the bolt which doesn't make sense since it's a service part! Be careful not to cut the actual bolt! Once you do this you can simply slide off the broken arm and slip on the new one and install the bolt then the plastic cover.
