OrionSL
Long story short, I bought a used IS 250 and started having problems a week after. For starters It developed a loud injector noise sound after the motor would warm up. I read that this noise is common on DI engines however this was alot louder as it would echo off of buildings. Then just the other day it started making a whining noise which sounds like its coming from the intake runner. Also I noticed that this thing would eat gas. I could literally watch the needle on the gauge drop while only driving 30 or so miles. It would go empty and take about 14 gallons to fill up. Now I learned its a 17 gallon tank so wheres the other 3 gallons?..

TrevC
I could hazard a guess at either the injector seals have failed or the injectors themselves...ether way I would book it into a good Diesel specialist to look at.
