Extended Warranty (or Mechanical Breakdown Insurance) After 8 Years

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I would like to know if there are ways to get extended warranty or mechanical breakdown insurance for my 2007 lexus.

It initially came with 4 year factory warranty, then i bought a platinum coverage for additional 4 years and is about to end in a month. But on talking to my dealer, i came to know that the warranty cannot be anymore extended. I have only 44k on my car, and would appreciate if there are ways I could add some kinda warranty on it as am not planning to sell it any sooner.

Please let know of any alternatives to get the EW/MBI

Thanks

My 2007 RX350 was purchased in 2011 pre-owned certified with 36,000 mile warranty.
Need to buy a reliable repair insurance policy.
Not available at my Lexus dealer in NY (Ray Catena)
Anyone have a reference for reliable insurance company ?

      Hi,
I have a GS350 2007, very low milage (~37000 miles), well maintained and never have any major problems. I've been out of the country for over a year and now just come back in town but the warranty was already expired. I wonder if I can still buy the extended warranty from Lexus dealer? If so, what's the expected price and how many years/milage? Thanks a lot...

I have Lexus original chrome wheels (2007 Es 350) that are starting to peel in well of the lug nuts. Before jousting with Lexus if the warranty covers the wheels I wanted to sound out fellow owners. The warranty excludes "rust" but this is not rust - just bad chrome plating.
