Replacing Side Lights Lexus Ls460 With Bright Leds?

Hi Guys

has anyone changed there dull yellow side lights with brighter white LEDS.

Is it easy to do and what type LEDS (ebay URL?) do you needs to buy?

Can LEDS replace existing bulbs or do you need transistors as well?

I have seen these changed. You may need to hunt about for quality LED's though.
