Rattling From Rear Right End

2000 RX300 I have rattling coming from the right rear end when im accelerating. It also rattles when im idling at a stop light. it doesnt do it in park, only in gear. It sounds like it is coming from my right rear wheel,. Any suggestions?

The first thing I would check is the exhaust system since your muffler is at the right rear. How vibrations are transmitted through a vehicle can change between when the transmission is in Drive vs. Park/Neutral.

I once had a similar situation that was caused by a loose heat shield on exhaust tube or muffler.

Hey I appreciate you for that answer. I took I to Midas Muffler and told them and they checked it out and said it was something loose. Something about a towing brace or something that was loose and rubbing against the muffler. He just bent it back in place for no charge...Thanks
