Like Becki, had the check been made out only to me, I would not have given it to them. I assume the main problem for people is the very limited number of Lexus dealerships in metro areas. We have about 1.8 million people in our metropolitan area, yet only 2 Lexus dealerships BOTH owned by the same company. Kind of limits your options.

Without knowing specific details, I would say you were bamboozled. Not a nice situation but welcome to the LOC anyway. We strive to prevent stuff like this.
