anniem416 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I have a 2010 rx350. Second owner. Love this car. Recently I found the clip that prevents the seatbelt from falling is missing. I am not very tall so I have to open the door to reach between the seats to pull it up and put it on. Very annoying. Can I just get the clip replaced or will I need a new belt. Probable cost? Is it worth it? Please help
13IS250C Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Welcome! Sounds to me like that piece would be very necessary for proper operation of the belt. I'm would get it fixed immediately. Was it like that when you bought it? I would think the safety equipment would be under warrantee for a long time. Call your dealership.
anniem416 Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 Called the local Toyota Dealer. Part cost $4.97, told me to stop by and they would take care of it! Took 10 minutes including free car wash! I'm happy!
13IS250C Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Awesome!!!!! I would feel a lot safer with everything working properly.
VBdenny Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I would have to think a seatbelt problem on a 2010 would have to be a warranty situation. Should not have broken (period).
