niels
Hello Everyone... I am working on my neighbor's daughter's 94 ES300. It has about 200K miles and needs to have the steering rack replaced. I have been successful in unhooking the steering rack mounting bolts, lines, etc., but I am not sure which side of the vehicle I should be trying to remove the unit from. I bought a Haynes Service Guide hoping it would provide a limited amount of information and it suggests that it should be removed from the passengers side. I cannot see that this would be possible. Even so, it does not mention anything about removing the rear bank O2 sensor, which I believe must be removed as well. I am hoping that someone out there has either done this on their own vehicle or is a trained Lexus service technician and can give me some advice. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
