HRP Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 My Millenium Silver Lexus LS430 has a 1/4" chip on the side of the hood. Which touchup products do y'all prefer? I'm considering the Autovisuals Autosharp touchup pen, but thought I'd ask for opinions and/or experiences while I'm waiting for our April showers to clear up. silvermate Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 yeah, i second Tan don't mess with the touch up paint from auto shops, you want to get a pefect match call the dealer and give him your vin # and he can pull up the exact color of your car, get that paint and also get a clear coat touchup bottle as well. the little bottle of touch-up paint from my Lexus dealer was $9.99 as well as the clear coat. p.s. apply in very thin layers and let dry. do this until the paint is filled in to perfection ;) go over with some color X or your favorite wax to blend Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
