2002 Gs 300 W/nav Ac Controls On Display Not Working

When I press the climate. Button the display gives me an error code

"Check AC connection"

I installed a used OEM display/control module and got same message.

That tells me that issue may be somewhere else.

Anyone familiar w this problem who can give me idea how to resolve?
