Thanks, I changed it yesterday and put in SPP H3's Super White. Not as bright as I'd like it to be.

washcorp,

power, power, and more power. I know its not really needed on an SUV, but it would be cool to have just as a project since all the parts will be bolt on.

hey Mac,

I'm interested in more power myself. If you don't mind me asking, what's the cost? How has it affected your gas mileage? How will it affect the warranty?

Oh, by the way, the lights look sweet.

On another note, have you had any of the problems with you nav? I've seen quite a few negitive notes.

Thanks for the info.

MAC,

I really like all of the mods you made. I have a question for you...where did you purchase the Landcruiser Prado Lights and how hard were they to install? Was it a one for one switch out of the original equipment.

Thanks, MCHippo

Thanks for the props. I haven't installed the S/C or the exhaust. According to my source "they" are still working out some minor details. Guam doesn't get the NAV option. The lights were acquired through a source in Central America. The housings fit perfectly but the alignment of the bulb receptacle to the housing is not the same. I had to do a little modification to the housing and relocate the contacts to get it to work. If you are at least a little electronically inclined, it is a 2 on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being hardest.

Here are some recent pics of the latest mods...enjoy

A couple of questions: GX470 for 0260n5.7 or anyone with experience.

1. Hey 0260n5.7, have you recieved/installed the TRD Supercharger yet?

a. if so, can you hear it under normal and hard throttle?

b. How much has it effected your mileage?

2. Were the PIAA bulbs difficult to install? I am reasonably mechanical but I don't want to get into 8 hours of wrenching just for highbeam, driving, fog, and turn signals. Give me an idea on a scale of difficulty the change and hours required for the different bulb changes.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew,

No experience with the SC yet. As far as the bulbs are concerned, depending on which bulbs you change, it could take a couple hours. I mean if you change the reverse light and door light bulbs, you'll have to contend with the panels etc. Not a tough job at all though. HTH

Does anyone know where I can get the euro style Prado tail lights for my GX470?

I've seen a link for the clear tail lights, but not for the euro style.
