Lens Of Climate Control Is Distorted On The Inside

I am new to this forum. Recently purchased a 2007 SC.. What a sweet ride. Does anyone know if the lens can be cleaned or do I need to replace the whole unit?

Its like a film from a chemical or something. It is not on the outside.

Looks like there is some separation happening in the display. The fix is to replace the LCD. I will see if I have one.
