Have anyone has any experience replacing the rubber trim aroud the rear window glass? Someone try to break into my 99 LS400 and had damage the rubber trim on the outside of glass. Is it something that I should take it to the body shop or a do it yourself type?

Thanks.

as per the '93 service manual: there are 80(EIGHTY) clips[of 3 different types] on the moulding. That is just for upper moulding--not the one between the rear window and the trunk lid.

Think you should go to a glass installer and one experienced with Lexus clips--I have bought some clips from Lexus and they can cost as much as $2. each

ck on the extra cost of 0 deductable-you should be surprised. certainly collision is where you want the $1000+ deductable.
