Navigation Screen And Climate Control Not Working

Hi everyone! The navigation and climate control on my 2008 IS 250 has gone out and the dealer said it will be $3200 to replace the entire unit. Does anyone have any lower cost solutions to fix this problem? Sorry for being ignorant, but if I just replace the Navigation will that fix the climate control problem as well?

I guess it's obvious, but I am not experienced in this area at all. I would really appreciate any help and/or suggestions. Thank you very much!!!

I have upgraded factory replacement screens as the original factory screens are faulty. PM me for details. Less than a Grand Way less...

Replace the screen with a new non defective one.

I am having the same problem with my 08.  I think this should be a RECALL, since we are ALL having the same problem!
